Conversation Cafe is a friendly space where individuals can meet to share ideas, learn new skills and find solutions to challenges affecting our community, including:
  • adult education
  • barriers to employment
  • cancer awareness
  • domestic and sexual violence
  • skills development
  • mental health issues including loneliness
  • parenting
  • prenatal and postnatal mental health.

Monthly sessions take place on the first Thursday of every month. A space set up and run by survivors of domestic and sexual violence to share experiences and learn from each other. This month will feature a special guest who has used her experience to start a successful cake business. She has inspired many women in the business and will be on hand to share business tips in the baking industry.

Conversation Cafe: Health Care in Newham and how you can help improve it

Health watch Newnham listens to people’s experiences in services such as GPs, Hospitals, and Clinics in order to obtain positive or negative feedback. With the feedback received they compile a report that is sent to the relevant bodies to review. Health watch Newham will facilitate this conversation café to give you a chance to feedback about your experience with a health service you might have accessed in Newham.
