Newham residents have another fantastic opportunity to watch first class cricket thanks to our prestigious partnership with Essex Cricket.

Cricket ticket giveaway for Newham residents

As part of the partnership agreement the council has up to 100 tickets to give away for every day of the Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup games taking place at The Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford.

  • 30 April - Sussex (Royal London One-Day Cup)
  • 7 May - Gloucestershire (Royal London One-Day Cup)
  • 14 - 17 May - Nottinghamshire (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 27 - 30 May - Kent (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 16 - 19 June - Hampshire (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 23 - 26 June - Somerset (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 7 - 10 July - Yorkshire (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 13 -16 July - Warwickshire (Specsavers County Championship)
  • 16 - 19 September - Surrey (Specsavers County Championship)

How to apply

Indicate which day/match you wish to apply for (maximum four tickets per household for each day’s play).

Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Before applying, please ensure you read our Full terms and conditions (PDF)

What happens next?

If successful, your application will be confirmed by email. You will also receive an email from Essex Cricket a few days before the game confirming how to collect your tickets on the day.

Residents should only email NewhamTickets@newham.gov.uk if there is an issue with the online form or you are no longer able to attend your chosen fixture.
