Cricket ticket giveaway for Newham residents

Newham residents have a fantastic opportunity to watch first class cricket thanks to a prestigious partnership between Newham Council and Essex Cricket.

The partnership has declared to help make Newham the cricket capital of East London by 2020. As part of the partnership agreement the council has 100 tickets to give away for all Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup games taking place at The Cloud fm County Ground, Chelmsford.

How to apply

Residents should email NewhamTickets@newham.gov.uk with their details including:
  • name and date of birth (main applicant must be over 18)
  • home address
  • email contact details
  • number of tickets requested (max 2 per applicant)
  • name and address of the person who will use the second ticket (if required)
  • their preferred fixture (and preferred day in the case of Specsavers County Championship matches).
Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Before applying, please ensure you read our full terms and conditions.
