Meet the Mayor

The Mayor of Newham wants to hear from you. You can contact them directly about issues personal to you, join a discussion with other residents and businesses in the borough or invite her to an event you are organising.

Get in touch

You can email the Mayor.

Or write to them at:
The Mayor of Newham

Invite the Mayor

The Mayor also makes frequent community visits across the borough: from schools to coffee mornings to community events.

You can invite the Mayor to visit an event you are hosting. If you fill in the invite the Mayor application form we will let you know if it is possible. Please give plenty of notice for your event.

Talk to the Mayor in person

Newham residents who would like to talk to the Mayor individually, should complete a form for an appointment request. Please note that this does not guarantee you an appointment and that all requests are assessed by the Mayor's Office to ensure that these are suitably dealt with in line with the Mayoral statutory remit.  The Mayor's surgeries are by appointment only, however, there will  be a Councillor available for drop ins.
Surgeries will happen on the second and fourth Saturday of each month*
