Coronavirus updates for housing and homelessness

Homelessness prevention and advice

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Homelessness, Prevention and Advice Service is predominantly operating on-line or over the phone. This is to protect both our customers and staff from the risk of infection.

If you are homeless, threatened with homelessness or know someone who may be, please phone us on 020 8430 2000 ext. 57445 during the opening hours below or email us on [email protected] at any time.

People who are homeless on the day, or likely to be homeless within the next 7 days will be prioritised

Please note – if you are a tenant living in a private rented property, and you have been served notice to leave your home, regulations introduced since 26 March 2020 may mean you can remain where you are for longer.  Please contact our Early Intervention Team [email protected], or visit the Government website https://www.gov.uk/private-renting-evictions

Face-to-face services will only be available by exception. Please phone or email first.
