Coronavirus updates for recycling, waste and bin collections

Rubbish bin collections

If you or a member of your household is self-isolating at home, follow the stay at home guidance.

To dispose of any face coverings or PPE you or members of your household use when self- isolating, you should:

  • Double bag them
  • Store them for 72 hours before putting them in the rubbish.

Do not put them in a recycling bin.

Bulky waste items

Collections are taking place but there may be some delays. We aim to collection within 5 working days.

Green waste collection

Due to higher than normal levels of staff absence, collections of garden waste and the delivery of bins are temporarily suspended. Existing requests will be fulfilled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Commercial waste bags

Deliveries are still taking place but there may be some delays.

Delivery of domestic bins and recycling bins
