Where you can get help
There are a range of organisations and support services in Newham that can help you with your mental health. We have a range of services for children and adults. Some of these are online, others via the phone, and some in person. There are lots of options and you can chose a service that best suits what you are looking for.
Our local NHS Talking Therapies service, for example, offers psychological interventions for common mental health concerns, such as anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, traumas and living with long-term health conditions. The service has introduced a number of new interventions to help you to get through COVID-19 challenges. Self-referrals are welcomed and encouraged.
