Who is an adult at risk? 

A vulnerable adult at risk is anyone aged 18 and over who: 

  • Has social care needs  

  • Is experiencing, or at risk of abuse or neglect 

  • Is unable to protect themselves against significant harm or exploitation

How to raise a concern about an adult 

In an emergency situation call 999. If you want to report any other type of crime call 101. 

If you want to: 

  • Report an abuse 

  • Find out more information 

  • Raise a concern because you are worried about a vulnerable person
