How to send your documents for permit applications

This page will run you through how to upload your documents when you are applying for a parking permit online through My Newham. 

How do I save document files onto my computer? 

There are few ways to save document files onto your computer: 

  • Scan your documents using  a scanner connect to your computer 
  • Take clear and easy to read photos of your documents on a camera (at least 2 megapixels) which you can connect to your computer. 
  • Take clear and easy photos of your documents on a camera phone (at least 2 megapixels) so you can email your photos to your computer.  

If you are having problems uploading your documents, you can use the scanners now available at all our libraries. (Please note: libraries are currently closed due to Covid19.)

What files can I upload?  

Your files can be up to 3MB and have to be upload in on the following formats jpeg, jpg or PRD. 

Is it safe to send my documents online?  

Your documents will be sent using  encrypted technology which means they are safe.
