Apprenticeships in the council
An apprenticeship at Newham Council offers Newham residents the opportunity to gain new skills and qualifications while working. Apprentices earn while they learn during the two year programme and receive support to help them build their confidence and launch a successful career.
They receive off the job training once a week to work towards either a level 2 or 3 qualification related to their job role. They also receive practical experience and work alongside experienced professional who will help shape their professional development.
Candidates don’t need any formal qualifications to apply for many of our apprenticeships. An English and Maths assessment is part of the recruitment process.
