The Ageing Well Resident Advisory Group (RAG)

What they do:

Ageing Well Resident Advisory Group (RAG) members are residents aged 50+ living in Newham. The RAG has a resident Co Chair. Members meet quarterly to:

  • Share ideas and give views  on the issues affecting older people
  • Advise the Ageing Well team and take part in shaping future actions
  • Share information about services, activities and events
  • Take part in consultation exercises
  • Participate in the co design of services and products
  • Support the delivery of Ageing Well Action

No prior experience or qualifications are necessary to become a RAG member, We welcome diversity and support residents from all backgrounds to contribute. Residents do not have to attend every meeting. Residents can work  with the Ageing Well Team on areas that interest them.  

Resident Advisory Group Meeting dates:

  • Wednesday the 29 of March, 2023 (In-person), 6:00 pm. to 7:30pm.
  • Wednesday the 28 of June, 2023 (Online or In-person TBC), 6:00pm. to 7:30pm.
  • Wednesday the 27 of September, 2023 (Online or In-person TBC), 6:00pm. to 7:30pm.
  • Wednesday the 10 of January, 2024 (Online or In-person TBC), 6:00pm. to 7:30pm.
