Join us for a Saturday workshop to test and celebrate your ideas for the future of Beckton Parks, using a 6ft helium balloon with a camera attached to capture visions of the park from above.
Enjoy live music, locally prepared food and activities that celebrate the community, reflecting on everything we’ve learned as well as looking forward to the park’s future.
Alongside other local residents you will have the chance to showcase your vision, through objects, costumes or making words with your body, for a balloon portrait photograph!
If you may have a team or a group local to the area (e.g. a sports teams, walking group, mothers group, etc) bring them along to have a portrait taken from above, and to try out the fun activities (for all ages).
Some activities include:
- Pilates in the park with Fit2Relax
- Martial Arts lessons with Sensei, Celal Akgül
- Educational session with Curious By Nature
- Live music by a local musician
