What is Share Newham?
Newham Council, in partnership with the East London Waste Authority(ELWA) are joint funding the Share Newham Lending Hub Network. There will be three Lending Hubs as part of this network across the borough.
These hubs provide access to tools, equipment and other useful items at low cost. Whether you need something for a one-off project or occasional use, borrowing instead of buying can help you save money, reduce waste and reduce clutter at home.
How do the Lending Hubs work?
Residents can borrow a wide range of items, including tools, household appliances, gardening equipment and camping gear. To use the service you must set up an annual membership and then you for each item you borrow. There will also be concession prices for accessibility to the scheme. Simply reserve an item, collect it from your local hub and return it after use. Available items and borrowing arrangements vary by location.

With Abbey hub, Borrow Bank will operate on Tuesdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm, and Saturdays, from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.
