Royal Victoria Beach

Royal Victoria Beach returns to the embankment of Royal Victoria Dock for the fifth time this summer and will be open every day for seven weeks from Monday 17 July to Sunday 3 September. Entry is absolutely free.
This year there will be new additions to the programme including weekly family Zumba and yoga sessions on the beach, bouncy castles for children on weekends and a packed programme of activities until September.

Newham residents have the opportunity to relax on deckchairs, enjoy ice cream, build sandcastles and hang out in an unique urban space, overlooking the spectacular landscape of the Royal Victoria Dock and iconic skyline. The stretch of the sandy beach will provide a free, family-friendly day out for visitors wanting to experience the urban seaside.

The Royal Victoria Urban Beach project is a partnership between Newham Council and the Mayor of London.
