Connaught Bridge Closure from Monday 1 October for 3 week The Connaught Bridge by London City Airport has closed to vehicle traffic from today for the next three weeks. This is to allow maintenance work to the bridge. The pedestrian walkway beneath the road bridge remains open. While refurbishment work goes on traffic is being diverted via Gallions Roundabout, Woolwich Manor Way, Albert Road, and Connaught Road. Please allow extra time for any journeys in the area.

Mayor's free ticket giveaway

Register your details and we'll let you know when we have free tickets for events in the London Stadium.

Free tickets for residents

We invested a £40 million repayable loan into the transformation of the former Olympic Stadium so that our residents get to benefit from the legacy of the 2012 Games.
This has helped us to secure tickets to some elite sporting events and top class entertainment in the Stadium. Just recently 100 lucky residents were given the chance to cheer on Usain Bolt and Mo Farah at the Muller Anniversary Games.
