Recycling banks

Find out where you can recycle items that we don’t collect from your home, and how to report an overflowing recycling bank.

Find a recycling bank

We collect paper, cardboard, tins, cans and plastic bottles from your home - you can check if an item can be recycled at home using the Recycleopedia tool.

You can also recycle a range of other items in Newham at the on street recycling bins - there are over 80 locations across the borough - and an even wider range at Jenkins Lane Re-use and Recycling Centre.

At the on-street recycling bins provided by Newham you can recycle glass, plastic bottles, cans and paper. Some banks also have textile recycling facilities.

If you can't recycle your items at home, you can find your closest on street recycling point by visiting London Recycles Website. This website lists recycling banks provided by Newham and also by third parties like shops and supermarkets.
