Demand for the services we have to provide, largely care services and temporary accommodation, is growing faster than our income. This means we may not have the money needed to continue to fund all of your services in the way we do at the moment. We have to make choices about which services to prioritise and how we can go about delivering some better outcomes with fewer resources.
Before we make any changes, we want you to help us by having your say at our engagement sessions. We’ll be holding several over the coming weeks, online and in-person, and during the day and evening, offering you plenty of options to tell us what services are most important to you. We’ll seek to take on board your views as we develop our budget. Together, we can Build a Fairer Newham for everyone.
