Interfaith Week 2025 

A series of activities between Sunday 9 - 16 November to mark Interfaith Week 2025. 

Planting for Interfaith Week

  • Tuesday 11 November, 3-4pm, The Up Garden

Faith leaders will come together for a symbolic planting activity at the community led garden. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and hope, reinforcing the values of belonging. 

Faith-based Volunteer Food Distribution 

  • Thursday 13 November, 10am-1pm, Ascension Church Centre 
  • Thursday 13 November, 5-8pm, Ramgarhia Sikh Gurdwara 

A collaborative food distribution initiative led by local faith leaders. This programme will bring together representatives from faith communities to prepare, pack and distribute food parcels to vulnerable residents across the borough. 

Faith-based Volunteer Exchange 

  • Monday 10 November, 5-6pm, Masjid Ibrahim
  • Saturday 15 November, 10.30am-1pm, Masjid Baitul Ahad 
  • Sunday 16 November, 1.30-3.30pm, Hope 4 Humanity (Women only)

An activity that invites faith leaders to step into each other's community service spaces. This initiative will enable leaders from different faith traditions to volunteer alongside one another in shelters, places of worship, food banks, and other local outreach settings such as parks and community centres.
