Newham Council is hosting a number of coffee mornings for people interested in finding out more about foster care.
The coffee mornings, which will be held at St John’s Church, Stratford Broadway, will also give those who attend the opportunity to meet a foster carer and ask them any questions. The council is looking for people who have the time and passion to care for a child aged three to 18 with a spare room available.

Newham foster carers receive:
- A weekly allowance
- A one-off grant of £750 to set up your home
- 24 hour support
- Ongoing training throughout your fostering career.
