Creating new futures for East Londoners

Foundation for Future London is an independent charity. They connect people in East London with the opportunities, investment and companies that can change lives.

Foundation for Future London link talent and ambition in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest to the businesses and organisations that fund projects in the arts, creative industries, heritage, local environments, sport and digital and data.

Their programmes include grants schemes, capacity building, community leadership and exchange, safer spaces, grassroots programming, strategic investment, advocacy and policy change.  Through these partnerships, Foundation for Future London helps shape the futures of East Londoners – and the places they call home.

Foundation for Future London work with over 400 grassroots organisations and have provided over 35,000 training, employment, young people and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Excel London is sponsoring the Outstanding Contribution Award and is part of ADNEC Group.

First opening in November 2000, in an area of huge regeneration in London’s historic Royal Docks, almost 25 years later it has become one of Europe’s largest and most successful event venues, hosting over 400 events per year and welcoming around four million visitors from every corner of the globe.
