Estate walkabouts

Estate walkabouts are regular informal visits to your estate by our housing officers to meet with residents and understand their needs. You’ll have the chance to highlight issues in your area, for example communal repairs, lighting, cleaning, antisocial behaviour, gardening or signage issues.

Inspections may include:

• Housing Liaison Officers
• estate maintenance teams
• caretaking services
• Resident Involvement Coordinators (RICs)
• Neighbourhood response team
• Housing property services

Your RIC will log all your queries and work with our teams to resolve these as soon as possible and report back to you. 

We encourage you to come along, get to know our Council officers and share your knowledge and views. It's also a great way for you to strengthen your ties with your community.

Upcoming estate walkabouts

We hold eight walkabouts per month, and during the summer (June to September), we hold four walkabouts each month.
