We have launched a series of estate action days across Newham. These are events where the Council's housing teams, residents and local partners meet at a particular estate or neighbourhood for a few hours to address residents' concerns, strengthen community ties and deliver real change on the ground.
Come along to our Action Days to speak directly with your housing services team. It is a great opportunity to have your say and help us improve your neighbourhood.
You can:
- Speak directly with housing staff about repairs, tenancy concerns, and estate management
- Find out about the different ways you can help improve the housing services you receive through our Resident Involvement Strategy (PDF)
- Get support from our dedicated damp and mould team to tackle the issue in your home
- Get advice on fire safety
A team of Council operatives will also be present to clear litter and fly-tipping, carry out quick repair jobs, garden maintenance. Any issues that cannot be fixed on the day will be logged and scheduled for repair.
