Newham currently operates two Housing Hubs, located in Stratford and Canning Town. Details can be found at the bottom of this page.
Stratford Housing Hub
The Stratford Housing Hub is open to Council tenants and leaseholders, as well as residents with pre-arranged appointments to see our Housing Needs and Supply teams (Lettings, Temporary Accommodation and Private Sector Housing).
This hub offers a one-stop-shop where residents can speak to staff face to face and resolve queries in person. Services available at Stratford include Housing Liaison, Lettings, Income Collection/Rents, Repairs and Maintenance, Temporary Accommodation, Neighbourhood Response, Resident Involvement and Private Sector Housing.
While Housing Needs and Supply services operate on an appointment-only basis, you do not need an appointment to access other services. If staff are unavailable when you arrive, an appointment will be arranged for you. You can also book in advance if you would like a specific date and time.
Canning Town Housing Hub
The Canning Town Housing Hub operates as an appointment-only service for our Homelessness Prevention and Advice Service (HPAS). This hub is not open for general walk-in housing enquiries or services for Council tenants and leaseholders.
Residents must book an appointment in advance to attend.
Booking an appointment
To book an appointment, please use one of the following options:
· Email the relevant hub inbox with your name, address, enquiry and availability. A member of the team will respond with an appointment date and time
· Contact an officer from the relevant service area directly (e.g. via email or phone)
· Council tenants and leaseholders can visit the Stratford Hub to arrange an appointment via reception
