Local Housing Champions are dedicated tenants and leaseholders who help strengthen communication between residents and the Council.
Housing Champions can:
- support residents to access housing services
- help neighbours find relevant support
- share important housing updates
- raise local concerns with the Council
- promote resident involvement opportunities
Champions receive training, support and recognition through Newham Volunteers and the Resident Involvement Team.
Please note that Housing Champions can only support residents living within their local area or estate.
