This year's annual Newham Apprenticeship Fair 2024 was one of the most successful to date. With a vibrant and engaging audience representing diverse backgrounds, the fair witnessed unprecedented enthusiasm for vocational opportunities and apprenticeships.
With tickets sold out at 1000 bookings, the fair saw a record turnout of 827 attendees, including 300 students from 12 schools and colleges. Employers were delighted to engage with the younger generation and witness their enthusiasm for learning more about apprenticeships and exploring career pathways in various industries.

Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to interact with representatives from a wide range of organizations, gaining valuable insights into available roles, industry trends, and the benefits of apprenticeship programs. From hands-on demonstrations to informative workshops, the fair provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and networking opportunities. We received overwhelming positive feedback from students and local residents alike.
Great event and it was refreshing as I never knew a tech company can and could integrate education into its vision, I will be pursuing a career within Microsoft and helping Newham to apply changes to schools within the borough.
