Keep Britain Tidy 2022

Back for its seventh year, the 2022 Great British Spring Clean takes place from 25 March – 10 April.

This year the message for the Great British Spring Clean is simple - join the #BigBagChallenge and pledge to pick up as much litter as you can during the campaign.

Here are the spring clean events taking place across Newham:

Saturday 02/04/2022 10.30 am – 11.30am Newham Woodcraft Folk's Woodchips (adults with under 5's only) Forest Lane Park
Sunday 03/04/2022 10.30am  - 11.30am Custom House along the A1020 opposite Newham's Dockside building

Saturday 09/04/2022 11am – 12 noon Green Street Community Neighbourhood Green Street library
Saturday 09/04/2022 2pm - 3.30pm Greenway Litter Pickers Group Greenway E13
Sunday 10/04/2022 10am – 12 noon Love E15 Greenway meet at bottom of ramp closest to West Ham tube (on Manor Road)


Many Newham schools are also joining in with the Great British Spring Clean.
