Report fly-tippers
If you see someone dumping rubbish illegally, you can report them to Newham using the button below or via the Love Clean Streets app.
Be aware that fly-tippers are committing a criminal offence and do not want to get caught. Please don’t approach them.
You don’t have to give your details, but if you use your My Newham account, you will be able to track our progress.
Information that helps us identify the individual and issue a fine and/or prosecution, includes:
- Date, time, and location of the dumping
- A photo of the illegally dumped waste, showing where it is
- If the dumped rubbish shows someone’s address, take a photo of this along with additional photos showing what the waste is and where it was left
- If a vehicle was used, the registration number and description of the vehicle
In some circumstances, a witness statement may be helpful.
