Greasy pizza boxes (ripped off clean lids are fine)

- Books (donate these to your local charity shop or take them to Jenkins Lane Reuse and Recycling Centre)

- Margarine tubs
- Plastic meat trays
- Yoghurt pots and lids
- Polystyrene
- Cling film
Organics
- Food
- Green garden waste (please book a collection here)
Other
- Textiles and shoes (please take them to your closest recycling bank)
- Nappies
- Glass bottles and jars (these items are mechanically extracted from your rubbish for recycling.)
- Hypodermic needles or other sharp objects – see Clinical waste page
- Large metals - take to Jenkins Lane Re-use and Recycling Centre
- Paint and paint tins
- Electrical items
