Using bins or bags

General waste bins

If you have off-street storage space, we strongly recommend you use one of our waste bins. 

They are by far the best way to have your waste collected. They come in various sizes depending on how much waste you produce.

Using bags only

Pre-paid bags are ideal for businesses that have nowhere to store a bin or produce small amounts of waste. Our bags are pre-paid which means you only pay for what you need.

The price includes delivery, collection and disposal of the bags and a waste transfer note. We accept payment by credit or debit card. To order bags please call our customer service centre on 0208 430 2000 or email env-[email protected]

There is a minimum purchase of one batch – which is 52 bags. However, if you buy four batches of bags at the same time you’ll save £25 off the total cost.

Mixed recycling service

We also provide a mixed recycling service for businesses in Newham. We can collect paper, food tins, drinks cans and plastic bottles.

All this can be stored in the same container, it is then sorted at a materials recovery facility. We offer various size containers depending on your business needs.

Ad-hoc collections

If you have extra waste we can offer additional bin collections upon request. Please email us to request an ad-hoc collection, or call the customer service centre on 0208 430 2000. There is a charge for this service
