Programme details
- Location: East Ham Leisure Centre, 324 Barking Road, E6 2RT
- Duration: 2.5 days
- Two full-day sessions led by Nutrition Kitchen.
- One half-day session with the Newham Waste Reduction Team.

- Monday 2 February 2026 – 10am to 2pm
- Monday 9 February 2026 – 10am to 2pm
- Monday 16 February 2026 – 10am to 12pm

What’s Included?
- Free Food Hygiene Level 2 Certification
- Free DBS Check (organised by Nutrition Kitchen)
- All training, equipment and ingredients provided
- Ongoing support to help you deliver your workshops with confidence
Who Can Apply?
You can join the programme if you:
- Live in Newham
- Are 18 years or older
- Can commit to all in-person training sessions
- Are happy to travel locally to deliver workshops in schools or community settings
- Are enthusiastic about food, sustainability and community impact
Your Role as a Love Food Hate Waste Champion
As a Champion, you will:
- Host one Love Food Hate Waste workshop ideally during Food Waste Action Week (9–13 March 2026) or throughout March.
- (All equipment, ingredients and resources provided)
- Showcase your impact by submitting photos or a short video of your project
- Share your results by providing simple feedback and data after each workshop
