Consultation on the Proposal to amalgamate Odessa Infant school and St. James' CofE Junior school
LB Newham and the Diocese of Chelmsford is consulting on a proposal to amalgamate Odessa Infant School and St James' CofE Junior School. This will result in a single primary school. This informal consultation is the first stage of a five-stage process before the amalgamation can be implemented if agreed.
The consultation will be for a period of four weeks and will run from Monday 22 September and end on Monday 20 October 2025.

At the end of this informal consultation period, a decision will be made on whether to proceed to the formal consultation stage process by publishing a statutory notice on the amalgamation proposal as set out in the statutory process timeline.
