NHS Test and Trace App

Evaluation

Over the last few weeks, Newham has been piloting the new NHS Test and Trace App. Residents can still download the App using the codes they received in the mail. From 24 September, codes will no longer be needed to download and use the app. For businesses, QR codes can still be downloaded and used by clicking here.

Research Interviews

NatCen Social Research, on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) are conducting independent interviews about the NHS Test and Trace App. The research will explore people’s views and experiences of the app, including any barriers to using it, challenges and benefits of the app.

The interviews will be held by telephone or over Zoom, at a time convenient to you, and will take up to 40 minutes.

Every individual who takes part will receive a £30 high street voucher as thanks for their time and contribution.

If you are interested in taking part in the research, or if you would like further information, please email covid19research@natcen.ac.uk or call 0800 652 0601.

Research Survey

Additionally, DHSC has commissioned a survey of 10,000 Newham residents, which is being carried out by IFF Research. The survey can be accessed here.

The survey can be completed in a number of different languages. Alternatively, you can complete the survey by telephone. To do this, residents can call 0800 0147 355 and leave their name and telephone number. A representative from IFF Research will call you back. Representatives from IFF are also going to be actively calling residents to ask if they would be happy to complete the survey.
