International Volunteer Day Event - 5 December 2022

International volunteer day

Newham's Volunteer Team invite our Volunteers to come and mark International Volunteer Day. Please book ahead by emailing us at volunteers@newham.gov.uk

The last few years, our Newham volunteers have been pivotal in not only supporting a global pandemic, but more recently, supporting national crisis such as the cost of living. We are marking International Volunteer Day to celebrate the selfless contributions made by our volunteers across the borough to support others and build resilient communities.

We want to acknowledge the selfless contributions made by volunteers across the borough to support others.

Councillor Virdee will be attending for a meet and greet.

Light refreshments will be provided.

There will be decorative flags being used on the day at Dockside, please do not lean over the balcony, touch the flags or interfere with them at any point.

Parking: Visitor parking spaces are limited, so we encourage all to arrive via public transport - DLR (Royal Albert Station). In the event that you are arriving via car, there are a number of short stay parking (FREE 2 hour) bays at Will Thorne Pavilion - subject to availabilty. There is also parking available on Stansfeld Road shared use bays for parking and JustPark Dockside Road Car Park, Dockside Road, London, E16 2QT.
