Requesting telecare / assistive technology equipment

Telecare basic personal alarms are arranged and provided by Newham Network Telecare Service.

If there is a need for different types of additional sensors or equipment that comes under assistive technology, these will be provided by the Adult Social Care Team, once you have been assessed.

How much does it cost?

Currently there is no charge for telecare or assistive technology equipment in Newham. However, charges do apply for the devices to be externally monitored by, Newham Network Telecare Services.
