Race and Health: Six Essential Seminars
The Health and Race seminar series has now finished. The sessions ran online every other month from May 2025 to March 2026.
The series was delivered by Newham’s Public Health Team, working with the Newham Staff Race Equality Forum. It focused on how race and ethnicity can affect health and wellbeing, particularly in a diverse borough like Newham.
Each session explored:
· research and data on health inequalities
· information about support, services, and resources available in Newham
· real experiences shared by residents
