Property Licensing: Digital Correspondence Project

As part of improving our service and engagement with Property Licensing landlords across Newham, we are exploring how we can move to more digital ways of working, in the future.

Currently, to apply and pay for a Property Licence, we ask our applicants to provide us with an email address and a mobile number for contact purposes. We would like to make better use of these details and are exploring the option of providing letters, licenses, and notices electronically, via email as PDF documents, instead of printing and posting them.

These changes will significantly reduce the cost of paper, printing and postage, reduce the need for paper storage, and help us communicate more effectively and more securely.

Later this year, we will be setting up a pilot project, to capture your thoughts and preferences for correspondence and communication updates, for inclusion to our digital working project goals. If you would like to take part, please register your interest by completing the form below.

We are keen to hear from any landlords/managing agents, so we can understand your needs better, to help shape our digital communications and Product solutions, going forwards.
