If you know someone who is not clearing up after their dog, you can speak to Community Safety for free on 020 8430 2000. We won’t ask for your name.

Fines for dog fouling
If you let your dog leave waste and you don’t clear it up, we can fine you £80 on the spot. If you don’t pay the fine, we can take you to court where the maximum fine is £1,000. If one of our officers asks you for your name and address and you don’t give it, we could fine you £1,000.
If you are a council tenant or leaseholder and you cause a nuisance to neighbours and other residents because of dog fouling or not keeping your dog under control we can take action against you.
