Learning Disability Week 2023
Newham celebrated Learning Disability Week 2023
Residents joined us for Newham’s Learning Disability Week 2023.
The events took place across Newham between Monday 19 June and Sunday 25 June.
The theme for 2023 was Art and Creativity. We planned a range of creative activities throughout the week.
This included:
- A Variety Show with local performers
- A BBQ at Chargeable Lane
- Learning Disability Resident Advisory Group meeting
- Have your say about Community Health Based Projects
- Plaistow South Big Local Carnival will have performers with Learning Disabilities
- An Art Exhibition at Beckton Library
