Local resident groups
Local resident groups bring together tenants and leaseholders from the same estate or neighbourhood to discuss housing and community issues and help improve local services.
Groups can take different forms, including:
- tenant and resident associations (TRAs)
- resident-led community groups
- informal estate groups supported by the Council
Groups may meet monthly, quarterly or as required.
The Resident Involvement Team and Local Housing Champions can support residents who would like to establish a new group.
