Resident Support Update

We are continuing to work closely with Prime Property Management to ensure all residents are aware that they must leave the towers.

On Friday, council officers and Deputy Mayor John Gray attended the site to support residents and ensure they had the information and advice they needed. Council officers and elected members are back on site today to provide ongoing support.

While no council tenants were living in the towers, we are supporting a small number of vulnerable residents who may need additional assistance.

Support for residents

Residents affected by the incident can contact Prime Property Management’s crisis communications team for advice on insurance queries and reclaiming costs.

Residents are also encouraged to scan the QR code displayed outside each tower entrance to register their contact details, helping ensure they can be contacted and offered support where needed.

We recognise that the situation may cause concern for people living near the towers. We are working with the relevant authorities to ensure residents receive accurate, up-to-date information and that any concerns about safety are addressed appropriately.
