What happens next
After you submit your application, you will receive an email confirming the permit has been approved.
Your parking permit is then automatically activated.
Courtesy Vehicle permits are virtual, you do not need to display a permit on your vehicle.
Courtesy Vehicle permits are valid for a maximum of two weeks. If you need to continue using the courtesy vehicle for longer than this time, you will need to buy another Courtesy Vehicle permit.
The Courtesy Vehicle permit is linked to your current Newham parking permit. If your current parking permit already had an exemption for Browning Road Bridge or a Healthy School Street, the same exemption will automatically be applied to the Courtesy Vehicle permit issued.
If your current permit is cancelled or expires, then the Courtesy Vehicle permit will also be cancelled automatically.
Any vehicle breaching a parking or driving rule or parked without a valid permit, may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and possibly be towed.
