On street parking charges
Parking charges vary between different streets across the borough and are based on a vehicle's CO2 emissions.
The vehicle's emissions can be found on the V5C document (log book).
If this data is not stated on the V5C, the parking charges will be based on the vehicle engine size.
All diesel vehicles registered with the DVLA are also required to pay a surcharge.
Charges will automatically be calculated when you add your vehicle registration into the payment system (PayByPhone)

It is important to check and follow the parking signs and rules (and make any payment required) before leaving your vehicle.
Any vehicle breaching a parking or driving rule or parked without a valid permit, may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and possibly be towed.
