Change or cancel a parking permit
Change your vehicle details
If you have sold a vehicle or transferred the registered keeper, you must:
- Cancel your current permit.
- Apply for a new permit for your new vehicle.
To cancel your permit, go to your online MiPermit Newham account.
When cancelling a permit, you will be refunded for any full months remaining, minus a £5.00 admin fee.
Change of address
Change of address within Newham
If you are moving home to another address within Newham and need to change the address on your MiPermit account, phone MiPermit on 0345 520 7007.
Moving out of Newham
If you are moving out of Newham, you can cancel your permit on MiPermit
To cancel your permit, go to your online MiPermit Newham account.
When cancelling a permit, you will be refunded for any full months remaining, minus a £5.00 admin fee.

Cancel a parking permit
Visitor and Trade permits can not be cancelled or refunded once purchased.
If you need to cancel a permit, you need to:
- Log in to your MiPermit Newham account
- Go to 'Manage MiPermit Newham'
- Select the permit you want to cancel
- Click 'Cancel', you will then be shown the value of the refund due
- Click 'yes' and you permit will be cancelled.
You will be refunded for any full months remaining, minus a £5.00 admin fee.
