Colours of Green Street

About: Life, Light, Magic and Celebrations

Life light magic and celebrations

The artwork, titled Life, Light, Magic and Celebrations installed at St Stephen’s Parade has helped transform a central space along Green Street into a brighter and more welcoming environment.

The artwork reflects themes shared by residents during community workshops. These include food, festivals, fashion, jewellery, and the diversity of local cultures.

The design features flowing shapes inspired by fabric shops along Green Street, along with natural elements such as leaves and a lemon tree, linking the mural to nearby community gardens.

Created through community co-design, the mural celebrates local identity and helps improve the look and feel of the area.
