English class - Speaking English With Confidence (SPeC): Help with English Monday, 10 - 11am ​Come along to our English conversation club to:
  • increase your confidence speaking English
  • practise speaking with other people from your local area
  • get advice about living in the UK.
English class -  Life in the UK B1 and B2 ESOL classes ​Wednesday, 12.30 - 2.30pm and Friday, 10am - 12 noon during term time English and citizenship classes for speakers of other languages aged 16 or over.

You must complete an entry form before starting the course. Speak to library staff.

​Gamers' group Last Thursday of every month, 1 - 3pm ​Monthly social club for adults with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and High Functioning Autism (HFA).
​Knit and knatter Friday, 10am - 12 noon
Learn how to knit from scratch or improve your skills.
​Reading group ​First Thursday of every month, 6.45 - 7.45pm ​​Share your favourite books, discover new writers and enjoy great reads in a relaxed environment.
​Table tennis ​Saturday, 3 - 5pm ​Improve or show off your skills with table tennis in the main library. Competitions take place on the last Saturday of the month.
​Together we can ​Every other Friday, 2 - 4pm ​Fortnightly social group for adults under 50 who have suffered a stroke.
​Yoga Every Thursday​ 6 - 7.45pm and every Saturday 10am - 12 midday ​Relax and learn inner peace with community yoga. Limited spaces available. Please arrive on time. £1 per session.
