Employment and Support Allowance
Employment and Support Allowance is a regular payment you may be able to get if you are not working because you are sick or disabled. If you are able to work, it also provides support to help you get a suitable job and be better off working.

Incapacity Benefit has now been replaced by Employment and Support Allowance and you can no longer start a new claim.

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit is a regular payment you may be able to get if you are sick or disabled because of something that happened in connection with your work.

Disability Living Allowance
Disability Living Allowance has now been replaced by Personal Independence Payment for people aged 16 to 64. You can make a new claim for Disability Living Allowance on the gov.uk website only if you are claiming for a child under 16.
Disability Living Allowance for Children
Disability Living Allowance for Children may help with the extra costs of looking after a child who is under 16 and has difficulty walking and/or need more looking after than a child of the same age.
