Private Sector Housing
The Private Sector Housing Service will close from 25 December 2025 to 1 January 2026.
From 2 January 2026, the service will resume as normal: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
Our contact telephone line 0203 373 1950 will be open from this date between:
- 9:30am–11:30am, and
- 1:30pm–3:30pm each day.
In cases of emergency during the closedown period, these should be referred to Emergency Planning & Resilience – Newham Council.
