Enabled Living
Enabled Living provides a range of community equipment, wheelchair, specialist seating and sensory support services for Newham residents, helping people to remain independent and live safely at home.
Services based at the Resource Centre include:

- Sensory Services for people with sight or hearing loss
- Functional assessments for sensory needs, Occupational Therapy and Telecare (Assistive Technology)
The service operates a functional therapeutic room where residents can receive assessments from specialist staff, including the Sensory Service, Occupational Therapy and Telecare (Assistive Technology). Visitors can also view and try a range of equipment and aids to help identify solutions that support independent living.
The Sensory Service provides specialist information, advice and support for people with sight loss, hearing loss or dual sensory impairment. The team works with individuals to maximise independence through assessments, rehabilitation, specialist equipment and practical support to help people live safely and confidently at home and in the community.
