Free teaching resources launched for Coronation

This year, millions of people will come together to share friendship, food and fun in their communities for the Coronation Big Lunch , 6 to 8 May. We’re pleased to be working with Eden Project Communities, the people behind the annual Big Lunch initiative, to bring the celebrations to Newham.

Eden Project Communities has launched a special set of teaching resources to help get children ready to mark this historic occasion. The lesson plans, which cover a range of subjects and are for all Key Stages, include a ‘Wild Crown’ making class, linking to The King and Queen Consort’s concern for the environment.
