Hearing Sessions

The hearing sessions of the Examination of the London Borough of Newham Local Plan will take place over 4 weeks.

The hearings will all be held in-person at the Newham Council Office, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU and will start at 9.30 am on each sitting day.

The hearings will also be live streamed (for viewing only). The live steam will only be available when the sessions are being held. Watch the livestreams here: Newham London - YouTube

If you are attending the hearing sessions, please be advised that:

  • Anyone may come and observe but non-participants have no right to speak.
  • If you did not make comments on the (Regulation 19) Draft Submission Local Plan version of the plan, you do not have a legal right to take part in the examination.
  • If you made a written objection and do not wish to say anything at a hearing, your comment on the final draft plan will still be considered by the inspector. The inspector will also consider all comments made in support of the plan.
