Compressor House
Grade 2 listed Compressor House is an historic warehouse which served the old Royal Docks. We are transforming it to create a new destination and a multifunctional space serving the local community and beyond. We’re working closely with the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone team to bring this about.
The project aims to support wider Council priorities, including our Newham Sparks programme and cultural strategy. When open, it will contribute to the improvement of digital inclusion; as a result, it will develop our digital and data economy, further the provision of an accessible arts and culture offer in south Newham and responding to the cost of living crisis through the creation of local jobs.
